Our news repotr, commercials and behined the scense
Our Groop, Pop Stars and Celebrities, are going to have a news report and
commercials for our creative peace of work.
The news report and commercials will be about our topic. Bob geldof and
Live Aid, Oprah building a girl school, Obama and the Peace prise
and how J.K. Rolling has influenced societys opinion about Harry Potter
and other books she has written. We will have behined the scenes of how we
have maid the movie and lots of funny thing too, but also of how we have worked together that
made our news report perfect.

This year, there was a " Hope for haiti Telethon" organization
to raise money for the people of Haiti that are suffering from the effects
of the earth quake which hit Haiti at the beginnig of January. There were
many famous rockstars who took part in this event. they Raised $53 million
dollars.

Today in class
Today, I was filmed by our inqury teacher Miss Dave.
She filmed us because she wanted to see how we are progressing with our
project. This evening I did a little bit of research on the Haiti relief concert.

Talking to Ms. Dave about how to go further with this work, I have
changed the q's to:
What is Live Aid and why did Bob Geldof do this?
Also I have to interview my mum about what she remembers about Live Aid,
questions like: Did you go to the concert? Did you give money? What do you remember about
the Live Aid concert? Did you think it was going to achieve its purpose? The last part is to research if there have been other concerts since then

2005. This was a global concert like Live Aid in 1985 but didn't raise

This week...
On Wednesday 10 Febuary, after school, my group and I met our Mentor.
We talked to our Mentor Mr. Clark about what we think we can do for the

Field Trip
Today, all the 5th graders, including me, went to a Catholic Church called
Sacred heart cathedral near our school. Father Oscar was showing us around the church. To be honest, it was not
that interesting for me because I go to church but I was interested in what he had to say about Mary because this was new
to me because she is not part of our faith in the Lutheran church.
